This is the first android native app able to remotely control your lovely Rhythmbox player on Linux. Rhythmbox Remote doesn't stream music on your Android device,  it's not a internet radio server, it just use the plug-in Rhythmweb created by Pablo Carranza to control a popular Linux music player remotely.

  5. Open the apps and select "Add new Server" on the apps.
  6. Provide the IP-address of your computer and the port of Rhythmweb (7001 is the default).

  3. hi, i'm trying to use the plugin with a Samsung Galaxy 1 and with a tablet 10.1.
in both cases the plugin is working fine, since I can access and control the http server. however the app doesn't manage to access and says "server is unreachable". I suspect the issue may have to do with the access permission on the server: can you suggest me what to check? thx!

    1. Thank you for your feedback. I have take note and I will try to integrate it in the next version.
I stopped the improvement of the app, beacause the Rhythmweb plug-in was not ported to the gtk3 and is not up-to date with new changes in Rhythmbox, that means the plug-in can't start for the most latest distribution of Linux.

wich version of Rhythmbox do you use?
